Downtown and Recreation

The downtown area of Troy is steadily growing as new businesses make it their home. In recent years, great strides have been made to connect most subdivisions within the city limits to the MCT (Madison County Transit) Bike Path, and Tri-Township Park, which is currently in development. Additionally, MCT has forged a relationship with the SCCTD (St. Clair County Transit District) to connect the two trails across the county line. Moreover, Troy has seen the redevelopment of the MCT station with a Park-n-Ride for commuters to downtown St. Louis. The station features a covered waiting area, a locked area for bicycles, a lighted parking lot, and is situated on the developing bike trail.
